Format: 1.8
Date: Tue, 20 Feb 2018 15:16:12 +0100
Source: btscanner
Binary: btscanner
Architecture: armhf
Version: 2.1-6
Distribution: buster-staging
Urgency: medium
Maintainer: Raspbian mythic lxc autobuilder 1 <root@raspbian.org>
Changed-By: Sophie Brun <sophie@freexian.com>
Description:
 btscanner - ncurses-based scanner for Bluetooth devices
Closes: 481299
Changes:
 btscanner (2.1-6) unstable; urgency=medium
 .
   [ Sophie Brun ]
   * Use debhelper 10 and refresh patches
   * Take over maintainership by pkg-security-team with Uwe Herman's permission
   * Update upstream homepage
   * Add a patch to fix buffer overflow with "b" option
   * Drop embedded oui.txt file (Closes: #481299)
   * Use dpkg-trigger to update specific oui.txt
   * Update Standards-Version (no change required)
 .
   [ Raphaël Hertzog ]
   * Simplify 00_invalid_cflags_entry.patch to patch only configure.in
     as the other files are already regenerated by autoreconf.
   * Merge 03_wrong_std_cflag.patch and 00_invalid_cflags_entry.patch
     into 00_fix_cflags.patch.
   * Update triggers to watch only the oui.txt file.

 Description: ncurses-based scanner for Bluetooth devices
  btscanner is a tool designed specifically to extract as much information
  as possible from a Bluetooth device without the requirement to pair. A
  detailed information screen extracts HCI and SDP information, and
  maintains an open connection to monitor the RSSI and link quality.
  btscanner is based on the BlueZ Bluetooth stack, which is included with
  recent Linux kernels, and the BlueZ toolset. btscanner also contains a
  complete listing of the IEEE OUI numbers and class lookup tables. Using
  the information gathered from these sources it is possible to make
  educated guesses as to the host device type.
